001Heidi has been practicing in the field of substance abuse for the past four years. After recovering from her own personal battle with addiction, Heidi was led to dedicate her life to helping others overcome addictions. She received her Addiction Professional Diploma in June, 2014. She specializes in the treatment of chemical addictions and eating disorders. Heidi is the lead therapist of the Christian Program where she utilizes a unique type 003of trauma healing called Theophostic Prayer Ministry (TPM). Through TPM the clients false beliefs resulting from a traumatic event are exposed which allows healing to take place. The term theophostic comes from the Greek theo (God) and phostic (light) which literally means bringing God’s light into the trauma, and shining His healing truth onto the wound. TPM allows emotionally wounded people to identify the source of their pain and find lifelong peace as the result of receiving truth directly from the Lord. Heidi has recently moved to Mount Dora from Palm Beach County, FL where she was an active volunteer in the Christian recovery community. Her volunteer activities include serving at Night of Freedom, and Recovery Church both located in Lake Worth, Florida. She also volunteered at several food kitchens, homeless outreach events, and was a deacon at her local church.

Since relocating to Mount Dora Heidi has become an active member at Northland Church, and a leader at Celebrate Recovery. She is also currently enrolled at Charis Bible College to further her knowledge in Biblical studies and Biblical psychology. In her free time, Heidi enjoys spending time with her best friend and boxer mix Zoey. She and Zoey do a lot of hiking and exploring around the local parks, trails, and beaches.

Heidi follows Biblical principles to help clients and their families find healing through hope, faith, and love. Heidi’s favorite quote is “There is no pit so deep, that God’s love is not deeper still,” by Corrie ten Boom. She has derived her own philosophy that “God is greater than any addiction, mental illness, or hurt, and He can restore the broken to glory.”
